Madame Tussauds is undoubtedly the most famous wax sculpture museum. The museum has been open for 200 years, making it the oldest wax museum as well! The main museum is located in London, but Madame Tussauds has branches throughout the world. The wax figures housed there include Hollywood Stars, The Royals, characters, and historical figures. Some of the most popular figures at the London location include: The Queen, David Beckham, Amy Winehouse, Tony Blair, Robert Pattinson, and Charles Dickens. All of the figures are life sized and incredibly detailed. The figures at Madame Tussauds look so realistic you could mistake them for the real person they are modeled after! Madame Tussauds also features temporary exhibits in addition to their permanent wax figures, such as the Warhol’s Women exhibit.

The museum is open at 9:30 AM daily and the last admission is at 5:30 PM. They also have extended hours during UK school holidays. The museum is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. Tickets to Madame Tussauds can be purchased in advance online for a discounted rate, or can be purchased at the museum on the day of your visit. Madame Tussauds discount code is available for groups of 10 or more that purchase tickets online.
