Capital Cities: Honolulu, Hawaii

December 10 0 Comments Category: Exotic Locations

HonoluluWith everything from a rich night life, to scuba diving and sailing, this capital has it all. It may seem like an exotic paradise, but Honolulu, the state’s famous capital, has all of the most modern shops and amenities you are used to. It is the youngest of America’s states, and as it has everything the Continental, main land states do, but at the same time it seems far enough away to not feel like apart of the US. It has a huge, outdoor mall, and a ‘fashion district’ that have every brand name from Chanel and Dior to Macy’s. Waikiki beach is a long strip of warm sand giving way to crystal clear water and spectacular views. Hotels line this beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.

For night owls, there are also plenty of bars with great music, often live, all lit by tiki torch lights to really make you feel the Aloha spirit. Watch one of many nightly shows, including authentic Luaus complete with a huge feast. Just off the beach you can sail, take a dinner cruise to see the capital lit up by city lights, or snorkel in one of the many reefs.
